Adeniyi Falade

Mr. Adeniyi Falade is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Stockbroker, and an Investment Banker. He had his professional accountancy training at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Coopers & Lybrand Limited, Lagos. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science degree (BSc), from the University of Ibadan.

Before his appointment as Executive Director of Custodian Investment PLC, he had served as Managing Director of Crusader Sterling Pensions Limited, Managing Director of Lead Capital and Head of Investment Banking Group of Ecobank Nigeria Plc and Lead Bank Plc. He had also at various times served as Head of Internal Control/ Chief Inspector and Head of Risk Management Department of Lead Bank Plc. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Custodian and Allied Insurance Limited, Custodian Trustees Limited, UPDC PLC, UPDC FM Limited, and Interstate Securities Limited.

Chairman

Dr. Omobola Johnson

Dr. Omobola Johnson holds a B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Manchester, an M.Sc. in Digital Electronics from Kings College, University of London as well as a Doctor of Business Administration from Cranfield University. She is the erstwhile Minister of Communications Technology, past Chairman Accenture Nigeria, Founding Chairperson of Women in Management and Business (WIMBIZ) and a fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network (AGLN).
She brings over thirty years of corporate experience involving the private and public sectors both locally and internationally to the Board of the Company and presently serves as non-executive director on the Boards of several Companies.

Mimi Ade-Odiachi

Mrs. Mimi Ade-Odiachi is a seasoned professional and entrepreneur with over three decades experience in Non-Bank Financial Services (Insurance), Hospitality Management and Landscape Architecture. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Insurance from the University of Lagos. She is also a chartered Insurer. She is an Executive Director at Whispering Palms Hotels & Resort. She is also the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Omar Gardens Floral Company. She is currently serving as the Chairman of Custodian Social Responsibility Foundation.

Managing Director

Wole Oshin

Wole Oshin is the esteemed founder and Group Managing Director of Custodian Investment Plc, boasting an illustrious career spanning over thirty-five (35) years in the industry. Throughout his tenure, he has held influential positions, including membership in the Presidential Committee on Pension Reforms and chairmanship of the Nigerian Insurers Association. Wole’s expertise extends beyond national borders, as evidenced by his role as a Council Member of the West African Insurance Companies Association in Ghana and as an External Lecturer at the prestigious West African Insurance Institute in Banjul, The Gambia.

A prominent figure in the global insurance landscape, Wole Oshin serves on multiple esteemed Boards, including the International Insurance Society in New York. He also contributes significantly to the advancement of Nigerian business interests as a Council member of the Nigerian Insurers Association and the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.
Wole Oshin’s outstanding contributions to the industry have garnered widespread recognition, including a nomination as “African CEO of the Year” by the African Reinsurance Corporation. He is a three-time recipient of the prestigious Top 25 CEO’s Award by the influential BusinessDay Newspaper and was honored with the 2019 Harvard Business School Association of Nigeria (HBSAN) Leadership Award for General Management.

Educationally, Wole Oshin holds a degree in Actuarial Science and is a Chartered Insurer by Profession. He has been conferred with the Doctor of Finance (Honoris Causa) and is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, The Risk Managers Society of Nigeria, and the Association of Investment Advisers and Portfolio Managers. Additionally, he is a Fellow of the West African Insurance Institute in Banjul, The Gambia.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Wole Oshin remains actively engaged in various leadership roles, serving as a past President of the Lagos Business School Alumni Association (LBSAA) and boasting an alumnus status from the prestigious Harvard Business School. Through his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence, Wole Oshin continues to shape the trajectory of the insurance industry both locally and globally.

Chief Margaret Giwa

Chief Mrs. Giwa joined the Board at the inception of Custodian and Allied Insurance Plc. She is a businesswoman with experience in various sectors of the economy such as Oil and Gas, Real Estate. She sits on the Board of several other companies.

Olakunle Ade-Ojo

Mr. Kunle Ade-Ojo is the Managing Director of Toyota Nigeria Ltd. A graduate of Mechanical Engineering from University of Reading, he also holds an M.Sc in Automotive Product Engineering from Cranfield University, both in the United Kingdom. As a Global Management Associate, he worked extensively in different operational departments while at Toyota Motor Sales, USA. He returned to Nigeria as the Business and Strategic Development Manager of Toyota (Nigeria) Limited and rose through the ranks. He was the Executive Director with Toyota Nigeria Limited until his appointment as the Managing Director of the Company.

As the Managing Director, within his second year of leading the Company he saw to the establishment of Toyota Assembly Plant in Nigeria. He also supervised the assembly and test of the first Hiace bus assembled in the plant. He has attended various Executive Management Programmes both at the Lagos Business School and the Wits Business School, South Africa. He is a member of Council, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also a member of the Institute of Directors of Nigeria. He is an astute business man who is quick to recognize business opportunities.

Mimi Ade-Odiachi

Mrs. Mimi Ade-Odiachi holds a B.Sc in Insurance from University of Lagos [1984].She is a Chartered Insurer as well as an alumna of Lagos Business School. She established Omar Gardens Floral Company in 1990 and thereafter grew the Company from a simple floral Company to an award-winning landscaping business.
She started her career at Royal Exchange Assurance Nigeria in 1985. Apart from being a member of the Board of Trustees of Custodian Social Responsibility Foundation, she is the CEO/Managing Director of Omar Gardens Floral Company.
She is also a Director on the Board of Whispering Palms Hotel and a member of the Board of Trustees of Bonas Macfarlane Nigeria.

Ibrahim Dikko

Mr. Dikko obtained his LL.M [Corporate & Commercial Law] degree from the Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London, England after obtaining his LL.B from the University of Buckingham, England. He was called to the Nigeria Bar in 1990.
He has worked in a variety of roles and industries that span corporate finance, banking and information technology and telecommunications.
He worked in Kenneth Michael & Co between 1991 and 1992 and was on the team responsible for setting up the first discount house in Nigeria as was chairman of the discount house from 2002 – 2012. He also worked an Executive Director in Resourcery Plc. from 2000 to 2007 and is currently Vice President (Regulatory & Corporate Affairs) with EMTS Ltd (trading as Etisalat Nigeria).

Olubunmi Aderemi

Bunmi is the pioneer Chief Executive of CSRF, a position she is well suited for having been in charge of Custodian’s CSR initiatives from inception.
Prior to her appointment in 2015, she was Head of Management Services Directorate of Custodian and Allied Insurance Limited for a couple of years and before then, Head of Admin/Corporate Affairs for six years. She was the pioneer Head of HR/Administration of Custodian and Allied Limited, a position she held for nine years.
Bunmi is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management and a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, having earlier obtained a first degree in Economics followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree both from the University of Lagos.
She has attended a few courses including the Advanced Management Program of the Lagos Business School in 2002 and Essentials of Leadership program at the London Business School in 2014.

Ravi Sharma

Ravi is a Partner with Aureos Nigeria Advisers Limited with over 20 years’ experience obtained in the fields of private banking, investment banking and private equity. He joined Aureos in 2001 as a consultant and was a key member of the local team that participated in the establishment of the Aureos West Africa Fund LLC (AWAF) in 2003; which included opening a new office for Aureos in Nigeria and subsequently the Aureos Africa Fund LLC (AAF) in 2008. Prior to joining Aureos Nigeria Advisers, Ravi worked for Aureos Ghana Advisers, where he was involved in 11 exits from Ghana Venture Capital Funds (GVCF) portfolio companies.

Since relocating to Nigeria, Ravi has been responsible for sourcing, structuring, monitoring and exiting investments across various sectors. He has been instrumental in the investment of over US$65 million of Aureos Funds in Nigeria. He was also responsible for the partial divestment from two of the AWAF portfolio companies in Nigeria. Ravi sits on the board of nine (9) Aureos portfolio companies. His previous experience was gained in private and investment banking with Barclays Private Bank (London) and TAIB Bank (London). Ravi holds an MBA from the University of Wales and has a B.Sc. in Economics & Accounting from the City University, London.

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF THE CUSTODIAN ACCIDENT AND EMERGENCY CENTRE

Custodian achieved a major milestone in healthcare provision with a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of an accident and emergency center at the General Hospital in Epe, Lagos.

The center, upon completion, will be a cutting-edge medical facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services to trauma and accident victims, as well as other medical emergencies.

Speaking at the event in Lagos, the Managing Director of Custodian Investment Plc, Wole Oshin, emphasized the company’s commitment to health as a significant pillar of the foundation. He said the decision to undertake the project was driven by the desire to support the government’s efforts in the healthcare sector and reiterated the dedication of the Custodian Group to delivering a world-class medical facility. Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, underscored the importance of the collaboration between the Custodian Group and the state government.
